Workshops & Training

Learning, Growth and Understanding

Alongside counselling, coaching and supervision, I am passionate about education.

Over the years I have taught, trained and supported students, practitioners and individuals from a wide range of backgrounds.

I believe that learning can be a powerful catalyst for self-understanding, confidence and meaningful change.

My workshops combine professional knowledge, lived experience, practical tools and reflective learning to create engaging and accessible learning experiences.

Whether you are exploring your own personal development or looking to deepen your professional understanding, my aim is always the same:

To help people understand themselves and others more deeply.

ADHD & Neurodivergence Workshops

Understanding yourself can change the way you live with your brain

My workshops are small, interactive and designed to help you make sense of your own experience of ADHD and neurodivergence — not simply learn a collection of facts.

We combine accessible psychoeducation with discussion, reflection and practical exercises, creating space to explore how your brain works, recognise patterns that may have been misunderstood for years, and discover what genuinely helps you.

These are not group therapy sessions and you will never be expected to share anything you don’t want to.

They are relaxed, neurodivergent-affirming learning spaces where questions, movement, breaks and different ways of participating are welcome.

Workshops are offered in small groups, with dates released according to interest.

Register your interest below and let me know which workshop(s) you’d like to attend.

The Workshop Series

1. Why Can’t I Just Do It?

Understanding Your ADHD Brain & Creating Your Personal ADHD Manual.

Why can you do something effortlessly one day and find the same thing almost impossible the next?

This introductory workshop explores what ADHD actually is and how it can affect attention, motivation, organisation, memory, emotions, energy and everyday life.

We’ll move beyond the idea that ADHD is simply about being distracted and begin exploring your individual ADHD profile.

You’ll reflect on the areas that affect you most, recognise patterns such as masking, perfectionism, people-pleasing and overwhelm, and begin creating your own Personal ADHD Manual — a practical picture of how your brain works, what makes life harder and what helps.

3½ hours | Small group | Maximum 8 participants

2. The Battery

Understanding Energy, Capacity & ADHD Burnout

Why can your energy feel so inconsistent — and why can ordinary life sometimes leave you completely depleted?

The Battery explores ADHD energy, capacity, overwhelm and burnout.

We’ll look at the demands that drain your battery, the things that replenish it, why pushing through isn’t always the answer, and how to recognise your own warning signs before you reach empty.

You’ll begin developing a more compassionate and realistic understanding of your capacity and what your brain and body need to function well.

3. The Mask

Masking, Belonging & Being Yourself

Many neurodivergent people become extremely skilled at adapting themselves to fit the people and environments around them.

But constantly monitoring, suppressing or changing yourself can come at a cost.

This workshop explores why masking develops, what it can look like, its relationship with safety and belonging, and the impact it can have on exhaustion, burnout and identity.

We’ll gently explore the difference between adapting when we choose to and feeling that we must hide who we are.

4. Emotional Regulation

Understanding Your Emotions & Nervous System

Why can emotions sometimes arrive so quickly and feel so enormous?

This workshop explores emotional regulation through both the ADHD brain and the body.

We’ll look at overwhelm, stress responses, recognising your own signs of dysregulation and beginning to understand what your nervous system may be communicating.

Rather than simply learning how to “calm down”, we’ll explore how to notice your state, understand what you need and experiment with practical ways of responding.

5. Rejection Sensitivity

Rejection, Shame & Self-Worth

Why can criticism, perceived rejection or feeling that you’ve disappointed someone hurt so much?

This workshop explores rejection sensitivity, shame, criticism, overthinking and the impact these experiences can have on self-worth.

We’ll distinguish between popular descriptions such as Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD) and established clinical understanding, while exploring why rejection can feel particularly intense for some people with ADHD.

The focus isn’t on becoming unaffected by other people’s opinions. It’s about understanding your reactions, reducing shame and developing a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

6. Relationships

ADHD, Communication & Connection

ADHD doesn’t exist in isolation — it comes into our friendships, families, intimate relationships and workplaces.

We’ll explore communication, misunderstandings, emotional regulation, conflict, different needs, boundaries and the patterns that can develop when people experience the world differently.

This workshop is about understanding yourself in relationship with other people and developing clearer ways of communicating what you need.

7. Self-Esteem: Who Am I?

Identity, Self-Understanding & Self-Acceptance

What happens to your sense of self when you’ve spent years believing you were too much, not enough, lazy, difficult, over-sensitive or somehow getting life wrong?

Late recognition of neurodivergence can cause us to look back at our entire lives differently.

This workshop creates space to explore identity, internalised beliefs, strengths, values, self-esteem and the difference between who you actually are and who you learned you needed to be.

It’s not about avoiding change.

It’s about understanding yourself well enough to decide what you want to change and what you no longer need to apologise for.

8. Building a Life That Fits

From Understanding Yourself to Living Differently

Understanding your brain is important — but ultimately that understanding needs to translate into everyday life.

This workshop brings the series together.

We’ll explore your needs, strengths, capacity, environment, relationships, boundaries, routines and priorities and consider what a life designed with your brain — rather than constantly against it — might actually look like.

You don’t have to squeeze yourself endlessly into a world that wasn’t designed with every kind of brain in mind.

Sometimes meaningful change comes from changing ourselves.

Sometimes it comes from changing our environment, expectations or the way we’re trying to live.

Often, it’s a combination of both.

How the Workshops Work
