Bespoke Neurodivergence Consultation and Support

One-to-one reflective and practical support

Supporting a neurodivergent person, or navigating education or employment as a neurodivergent person yourself can raise complex questions.

I offer individual consultation and professional support to help you understand what may be happening, identify barriers and develop compassionate, practical ways forward.

My approach draws on my experience as a counsellor, therapeutic coach, clinical supervisor and counselling tutor.

Sessions are collaborative, individually focused and shaped around what you need.

Who is this for?

This support may be helpful for:

  • Teachers, tutors and learning-support staff

  • Counsellors, coaches and wellbeing practitioners

  • Managers supporting neurodivergent employees

  • Professionals wanting to make their practice more neurodivergent-affirming

  • Neurodivergent adults navigating education or employment

You do not need to arrive with a fully formed question.

We can begin by exploring what is happening and deciding together what would be most useful.

What might we explore?

Depending on your situation, we may consider:

  • ADHD, autism and combined ADHD and autistic experiences

  • Executive functioning and practical scaffolding

  • Emotional regulation, sensory needs and overwhelm

  • Masking, shame, confidence and burnout

  • Communication and recurring misunderstandings

  • Psychological safety and environmental barriers

  • Reasonable, needs-led adjustments

  • Self-understanding and self-advocacy

  • A clear and manageable next step

The purpose is not to provide a generic list of strategies.

It is to understand the individual, their environment and the demands being placed upon them.

My approach

My work is neurodivergent-affirming, trauma-aware and evidence-conscious.

I recognise that neurodivergent people are not all the same and that relationships, life experiences, physical health and the wider environment can also affect how somebody functions.

Support is collaborative and non-shaming. Difficulty is not automatically evidence of laziness, defiance or a lack of motivation.

This service does not provide diagnosis, medical or legal advice, or occupational-health assessment.

Formal counselling, coaching or clinical supervision will always be clearly agreed and appropriately contracted.
