Clinical Supervision

A Reflective, Supportive Space for Growth, Learning and Ethical Practice

Supervision provides an opportunity to step back from the demands of client work, reflect on your practice, explore challenges, celebrate strengths, and continue developing as a practitioner.

Whether you are a trainee counsellor, newly qualified practitioner, experienced therapist, coach, or helping professional, supervision offers a dedicated space to think, learn and grow.

My aim is to provide a warm, collaborative and supportive supervisory relationship where you feel able to bring both your successes and your struggles without fear of judgement.

My Approach to Supervision

I believe that good supervision should be both supportive and appropriately challenging.

It should help you think more deeply about your client work, strengthen ethical decision-making, develop confidence, and support your wellbeing as a practitioner.

My supervision style is relational, reflective and educational.

I draw upon my experience as a counsellor, coach, trainer and educator, creating a space where learning, curiosity and professional development can flourish.

I have a particular interest in:

🧠 ADHD, Autism and Neurodivergence

🌱 Emotional Regulation and Nervous System Awareness

🏡 Identity, Self-Acceptance and Authenticity

🌿 Somatic and Embodied Approaches

🎓 Teaching, Learning and Reflective Practice

❤️ Practitioner Wellbeing and Burnout Prevention

My Professional Background

Alongside my counselling work, I bring experience as a coach, teacher, trainer, mentor and supervisor.

For approximately ten years, I have worked as a complementary therapy tutor and trainer across the South West, supporting students in their professional and personal development.

I have also supported trainee coaches through the MOE Foundation, providing mentoring, reflective support and guidance as part of their learning journey.

Alongside this, I teach and assess counselling students, helping them develop their skills, confidence, ethical awareness and professional identity.

I qualified in Clinical Supervision in September 2025 and have a particular interest in supporting practitioners working with neurodivergence, emotional regulation, identity, self-acceptance and somatic-informed approaches.

My combined experience in counselling, coaching, education, mentoring and supervision allows me to offer a reflective, supportive and developmental supervisory relationship.

Transparency & Experience

I believe it is important to be open and transparent about my experience.

Whilst I bring several years of counselling experience, a substantial background in coaching, education, mentoring and professional development, I am currently building my counselling supervision hours following qualification as a supervisor in 2025.

For some supervisees, particularly those looking for a supervisor with a strong interest in neurodivergence, emotional regulation, somatic-informed practice and reflective learning, this may feel like a good fit.

For others, particularly where training providers or organisations require supervisors to have completed a minimum number of supervision hours, it is important to check these requirements before beginning supervision.

If you are a trainee counsellor, I would encourage you to confirm your course provider’s supervision requirements before booking.

❤️ Finding the Right Supervisor

Choosing a supervisor is an important decision.

I am happy to arrange an initial conversation to explore your needs, answer any questions and help you decide whether we would be a good fit to work together.

If you are a trainee counsellor, please check any supervision requirements with your course provider before booking, as some placements require supervisors to have completed a minimum number of counselling supervision hours.
