About
Helping you understand yourself and create a life that works for you.
At the heart of this practice is a simple belief:
People make sense.
Many of us spend years feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, misunderstood, or wondering why life feels harder than it should.
We may struggle with self-doubt, emotional overwhelm, difficult relationships, burnout, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or a persistent feeling that we are somehow getting life wrong.
Often, what is missing is not effort.
It is understanding.
When we begin to understand ourselves more deeply, we can start to make sense of our experiences, recognise our needs, work with our strengths, and respond differently to life’s challenges.
Understanding creates relief.
Relief creates hope.
Hope creates change.
A Neurodivergent-Affirming Practice
This practice has a particular interest in supporting adults with ADHD, Autism and AuDHD, as well as those exploring whether they may be neurodivergent.
Many people arrive carrying years of self-criticism, shame, masking and misunderstanding.
They may have spent decades trying to fit into environments that were never designed with their needs in mind.
Rather than asking “What’s wrong with me?”, a different question begins to emerge:
“What if there was never anything wrong with me in the first place?”
This shift in understanding can be profoundly transformative.
More Than Symptom Management
While reducing distress is important, this work goes beyond simply managing symptoms.
Together we may explore:
• Emotional regulation
• Identity and self-worth
• Relationships and communication
• Burnout and overwhelm
• Boundaries and self-care
• Stress and resilience
• Life transitions
• Meaning and purpose
• Creating a life that works for you
The aim is not to become somebody different.
The aim is to better understand who you already are and learn how to work with yourself rather than against yourself.
The Home Framework
Much of the work within this practice is informed by the HOME Framework.
Hold Safety – Creating a space where your nervous system can begin to settle.
Observe the Body – Learning to recognise emotions, triggers, patterns and bodily signals before they take over.
Move & Regulate – Developing practical ways to work with overwhelm, stress, emotional dysregulation and life challenges.
Embody Identity – Building a life that reflects who you are, rather than who you think you should be.
The HOME Framework provides a pathway towards greater understanding, self-acceptance and meaningful change.
A Whole-Person Approach
People are complex.
Our experiences are shaped by our relationships, history, environment, beliefs, nervous system, culture, strengths and challenges.
Rather than focusing on a diagnosis, label or symptom in isolation, this practice takes a whole-person approach that recognises the interconnected nature of emotional wellbeing, identity, relationships and everyday life.
Whether you are seeking counselling, coaching, supervision, training or resources, the aim remains the same:
To help you better understand yourself and create a life that works for you.
